In additional to our Bottom Line Price Guarantee we offer free standard shipping on all office furniture orders via major carrier.


 FREE! Standard Delivery: Office furniture will be delivered by truck via common carrier, i.e. Yellow Freight, Roadway or U.S. Freight to your door, entry way, curb or dock.

Supply orders will be shipped via UPS.  If your order contains both furniture and supplies, your supply order will arrive via common carrier with your office furniture.

Cost: Standard/Tailgate Delivery is free for all furniture orders and supply orders over $75.00.  A $10.00 handling charge will apply to all supply orders under $75.00. 

It is your responsibility to remove the product from the receiving area and move it into the building where the product is needed. You will be responsible for removing the product from the cartons, assembly when necessary, putting the product in place, and disposal of all cartons. (Note: Please carefully read receiving instructions below).   


 DMI Factory Closeouts

All DMI Factory Closeouts are shipped via common carrier (i.e. Roadway) and include tailgate delivery only.  This means that the driver will bring your items to the back of the truck. You are responsible for removing them fromthe truck and bringing them inside. While some drivers may be willing to assist, they are not obligated to do so.  We strongly suggest that anyone without a loading dock, forklift, or other means of moving heavy items consider our White Glove delivery option, which includes removing furniture from the truck, moving it into position, and disposal of all cartons and waste.  Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.


Inside Delivery: Delivery personnel will remove the furniture from the truck, and take the product inside the threshold of the office or home.

Cost: For orders $5000.00 and greater Inside Delivery service is free. For orders less than $5000.00 this service is an additional $139.00.

This service will include carrying inside the threshold of the building. You will be responsible for removing the product from the cartons, assembly when necessary, putting the product in place, and disposal of all cartons. RTA (Ready to Assemble) furniture will not be assembled. (Note: Please carefully read receiving instructions below).


 

White Glove Delivery and Installation: A full delivery and installation service is available. This service includes delivery of the product to your designated location, removal of packaging materials, assembly of product and setting the product in place. This service also includes disposal of all cartons and packaging material. (Note: Please carefully read receiving and freight claim instructions below).

 Receiving Instructions

All deliveries will require that an adult be present to inspect and sign for the shipment. If there is visible damage to the packaging, you should immediately open the packaging and inspect the product for damage. If there is damage, you may refuse the item and ask the freight carrier to take it back to the originating point. If this occurs, please notify Planet Office Furniture at customerservice@planetofficefurniture.com or at 866-380-4978 and arrangements for a new product to be delivered will be made immediatly.
